Knew what I wanted, that is what I got. Apr 19, 2008 I knew the size I wanted, a size sometimes hard to find in a store. That was exactly what I got, quickly delivered at a good price. The ability to order these through Amazon (and pay through Amazon) was a great convenience.
very good jeans Feb 11, 2008 It's a very good pant for my husband. Nothing too special or fancy; he is very satisfied because he got what he expected
Never Shop Here Again Jan 18, 2008 Purchased Two Pair Of Jeans Only Got One. Was Told They Only Had One Pair And Never Heard Another Word But Got Charged For Two Pair.

Good non-stretch boot cut jeans Dec 28, 2007 I'm actually buying these as a woman who can't find any women's jeans these days that are both all-cotton and have a normal (high) waist without being a "mom jean" (short, tapered, unflattering `80s cut). If you just can't physically wear low-cut jeans without the waist gaping out several inches in the back, these might actually work better than the female equivalents. Make sure you work out your actual inseam length (with shoes) because you can't go by the definition of a "regular" women's inseam, which can vary by 2" depending on the cut of the jeans you're using as a reference.
My favorite is the clean-looking dark indigo rinse, which completes that retro look better than the myriad of pseudo-"vintage" jeans out there. You can pair them with pretty much any top, and of course they look especially good if you're wearing a pair of Fryes or other western boots. They'll eventually get wear marks along the thighs and seams as they are worn and subsequently washed, as all jeans do, but unlike the pre-aged jeans they won't look like someone attacked them with a bleach pen.
As far as sizing goes, the rinsed seems to be the most consistent, and all of the rinsed 517's I've bought within the last year or so say they're made in Mexico (same factory?). The black and stone-washd denim versions seem to run wide and/or tall, so you really need to try them on in-store. I suspect that these are made in a different factory/factories, as I've noticed a similar trend with the stone-washed 505's (usually made in either Hong Kong/China or somewhere on the Indian subcontinent).
